INSTRUCTIONS
How
To Adjust The Traction Effect Of The TRUE BACK®

We
suggest that when first using TRUE BACK you leave the foam infills
in place (A above.) and use a pillow.
When you have become accustomed to the device try removing the infills
(B above.) and/or pillow, this will
increase the traction effect. If you experience discomfort replace
the pillow and/or infills and continue your treatments.
How
to Use
TRUE
BACK is light weight, convenient and easy to use. Treatments take
only a few minutes. It is important that you do your part while
using TRUE BACK. For the best results may we suggest that you relax
your body, close your eyes and breathe deeply. Do not work against
the device. Please watch the instructional video which includes
some exercises that will increase the stretching effect while using
TRUE BACK. We suggest that you start treatments with the infills
in place and use a pillow with the high end towards your head. (see
fig. 1)

The device will create traction to
the neck and shoulders (cervical and thoracic areas). After a minute
or two try removing the pillow, if you experience discomfort, replace
the pillow. TRUE BACK should increase your flexibility sufficiently
enough to use the device without a pillow. After spending 3-5 minutes
with the high end towards the head, reverse the TRUE BACK, (see
figure 2.) with high end towards the base of your spine.
This will create increased traction to the lower back (the lumbar
area) again, relax, close your eyes and breath deeply, maintain
this position for 3-5 minutes as tolerated. TRUE BACK creates relaxation,
be careful not to fall asleep on the device. Although it will not
harm you it could create muscle soreness. Most people find that
5 minutes in each direction is sufficient. However, we suggest that
10 minutes in each direction should be the maximum. Please note,
it is more beneficial to use TRUE BACK frequently rather than for
long periods.
